最近总是容易累。。不知是为什么。。也许是压力的关系吧。。两年一度的SYF比赛又将来了。。可是到了现时今日，学生们仍然无法把已练了4个多月的曲子吹奏得好！教我如何不担心失望呢？！是的，这几天，失望总是写在我的脸上。。随着下星期四的比赛的逼近，害怕、忧愁更是紧跟随着我。。当然，我也知道无法强人所难，但就不能让我有那么一次的光荣吗？为何到了今天，原本怀有的希望和曙光经一起全部破灭！尽管教练要我仍怀着希望，尽管学生们一再保证不会让我失望，但。。现实。。真能如我愿吗？
更糟的是，学生们有的很明显不是很合群的，有的则想争权夺利。。好累。。怎么又再次碰到这类问题呢？不是在两年前完全将这种烦恼斩草除根了吗？怎么又死灰复燃呢？还要我有再次浪费时间、精力重振乐队吗？我还有当年的精力吗？我累了。。真的。。这次若再不成功。。我真的无法再呆下去了。。我真的付出了很多。。尽管仍有的人不认同。。仍有的人觉得我什么都没为乐队做过。。但天晓得我有多累了。。
能放弃了吗？该放弃了吗？乐队还有希望吗？能在暴雨后见到彩虹吗？我不知道。。真得好担心比赛当天。。好担心成绩放榜的那一分钟。。若又落榜了。。我真的会崩溃的。。

Great Study Venue for Students
After months of renovation and cleaning up...the study venue is finally ready...located at Blk 153, Bukit Batok St 11, # 02-282, the area is an ideal place for students looking for a quiet area to study...
always remember those days where i studied at Mac @ KAP..every now n then..i would get chased out cos the place is not for studyin..in order to contine stayin there..my frens n i would hve to keep buying food or meals or fries from Mac...cos they cannot chase us out if we r eatin..haha...however..much $$ is spent in that way...also...those irritating sounds n noises..from pple talkin...fr d stupid TV commericals within d Mac...reallie cannot study in peace...
thus when tis study venue is finally done up...i was quite pleased...other den free aircon...d place allows quiet self-studyin...a table to urself..or if u prefer to sit wif a fren...or u come in a group n decide to hve the small meetin room to urself for ur own group project or discussion...this is juz d right venue to choose...also there is a wide selection of drinks, snacks fr the pantry to buy so one can actually study n not be worried abt havin to leave the place to buy anythin..
at a minimal cost, this is juz the ideal venue for studyin.. to all those students out there..if u r lookin for a study venue...come take a look at tis venue woh...during exams seasons..it would b opened 24hrs woh... :) if home is juz not conducive for studyin..hesitate no more woh...lol...

Upset...got scolded by parents for no fault of mine!!
sometimes i reallie wonder what are the responsibilities and duties of a teacher..shld a teacher be scolded if a student commits a mistake that is totally not within the control of a teacher???!!!
just got scolded over the phone by a parent yesterday evening..reason? d child did not attend CCA practice..instead went for a game of soccer wif frens.. parents' views? teh teacher i/c shld hve called them to inform them of the child's absence so that they can track down d child n punish him if needed..no doubt the parents r concerned abt the child's whereabouts..after all this child has been giving the parents much trouble n headache..dat is y the parents are tightening the reins on this child..
however...let me just put you through this scenario n explain to me how i, as a teacher, shld hve acted... if this child..or any student for that matter..was around when the teacher takes attendance at the beginning of the CCA practice..den when d teacher leaves the room..this student decides to leave as well n leave the school to mit up wif his frens for other businesses...n return back to the CCA before the teacher returns at the end of the practice to round up d day's practice...would d teacher know of the child's absence in d middle? can d parents blame the teacher for failing to inform them of the child's "disappearance"? or r the parents expecting the teacher to be seated inside the CCA room all throughout the practice to keep the child within guarded eyes???!!!
do they think that the teachers are such free souls wif nothing to do??!!! we are already busy up to our necks..there is hardly any breathing space or rest time sometimes..yet we r still blamed for such matters...when d parents are unable to take care of their own child...how can they expect the child to listen to wad the teachers hve to sae??!!! yet the parents din wan the child to lose face before fellow school mates so hve to keep any misbehaviours hushed...yet questioned the teacher why no other student reported to the teacher abt d child's disappearance from CCA..how would the other students know the nid to report when they hve no idea that this child is to be guarded and keep an eye on!!!!!

SYF Central Judging for Concert Bands
Gosh...been so long since I last update my blog...lol...Went for SYF balloting dat dae...ours is on Day 4 (PM session), performance time @ 2.30pm...performing right after a 2007 Gold Band!!! I am reallie not too confident about clinching a Silver award, let alone a Gold...till now, the Band still has lots of technical problems, articulation problem...I am reallie not too positive...of course, in front of the members I have to boost their cinfidence...however...reality still hurts...I am reallie afraid that we would fail again tis time....i know the members have put in lots of effort..most of them...n it is reallie time we prove ourselves to the world out there that we hve improved and made it..but still...
yes we have gotten d taste of clinchin a Gold in 2nd National Bands competition in July 08..n Silver in Genting Highlands competition in 08 as well..it wa an achievement...definitely.. n i m proud of the band...but SYF is a totally different issue...its more competitive..its a competition among more than 150 schools!!!!d competition is very much steeper!!!can the band perform yet again? I don't know..i don't have the confidence...i am worried...
saw this beautiful rainbow dat dae...spread across the skies...how beautiful...let me make a wish over this rainbow...wishing all my family n friends best of health...n of cos....hope the YCSS Concert Band would be able to attain at least a Silver in the upcoming SYF Central Judging for Concert bands....God Bless Us..
