Foul Mood..

in a foul mood yesterdae..had a heated argument..affected mood so bad..i can't sleep til now..hai...dunno who actually started it or who actually is at fault..perhaps no one is really at fault..everyone has his/her own ideas and views about matters isn't it?really just feel like walking out of the venue immediately..staying doesn't solve the problem..talking about it doesn't seem to solve it either..such problems just seem never ending and will pop up when you least expected them to happen anyway..why bother...dun wan to end up lookin like throwing tantrums..

Finaly back from Taiwan

Phew...after 9 days..i am finally back to Singapore... the school sent me on this Taiwan Reading Club trip..been to a couple of schools to observe the success of their Reading Club..cool..the schools really got lots of support from the parents!! imagine the parents forming up reading clubs in school to read stories and act plays for the students! WOW!!! But i think what really made all the teachers (29 of us) drop our tears was during our visit to the Girls' Prison. imagine these girls are aged from 20+ to 70+!!and yet, they put up a wonderful show for us..from dancing to acting out a play..what touched us most was their review of the act that fellow prison mates put up..they reflected on how they were remorseful of what foolish acts they had done to result in them being thrown into prison..one of these girls reflected how she had failed in her duty as a mother by committing crimes and now her child of 1 year old was left to her father..wihout the love of a mother..sad sad sad...
guess now means more work for me..how to put what i have learnt from this trip into practice..how to further work on the current reading programme that i have started.. hmm... :)
