It's End of School Term!!!!

Finally...after a whole year of work...it's finally come to the end of the school term....all's left now are nothing but bits and pieces of admin work..packing for moving to new building...preparing for the School-based Curriculum for Sec 4 syllabus next year...preparing for the Open House...preparing for the inaugural concert....preparing for the Dec performance for the marathon...preparing for the Dec camp at Port Dickson...preparing for the activities for band next year...preparing for...oh my gosh...so much about "a bit" of admin!!!!!haha...but...all's good will end good...hope the holidays still wait for me to enjoy...

hmm...a colleague cum buddy left the service a few days ago for private school...(another has applied for transfer out of school)...kinda sad..we have been through the years of teaching ever since we began our practicum here in this current school...come to think of it...we have known each other since Feb 2003...wow...seeing her leave the service must mean she is real tired...agree....this profession..this career...yes..it has its own set of fun and pride...yet it also comes with lots of heart aches and sorrows...sometimes i too ask myself...where is the end...after all that has been done...is it worth it?

been talking about it with colleagues..office politics is becoming more and more eminent...no doubt this is a cup of tea in most school staff environment..however..here in our school...it is one pride that the teachers can boast about..."Office politics?what is that?" apparently..such a pride seems to have been slowly diminished...with the influx of new teachers...haiz...if only we could go back to those wonderful days..where teaching is fun when u have your colleagues around you to give you all the support you ever need...gonna miss those days..gonna miss those colleagues who left or are choosing to leave...perhaps...my turn to leave may come soon...who knows....

4Es are having their "O"-levels already...a lot of them don't look confident..worried and anxious for them..seriously..they have put in much effort the past months....reallie hope all will be well for them...4E3...work hard!!!!! gampatte!!!!jia you!!!!
